Create a beautiful resting place for your companion with the Louisdog Malibu Organic Chilling Mat. This lightweight luxury pet mat combines Italian organic cotton, a vintage orange-striped pattern, dramatic frills and a sparkling carrying handle.
Its thin, foldable construction makes it easy to move around the house or bring along when you travel. Place it wherever your dog or cat enjoys relaxing to provide a familiar, softly padded surface.
Italian Organic-Cotton Fabric
The body of the Malibu Organic Chilling Mat is made from a premium Italian fabric containing 73% organic cotton and 27% cotton.
The natural cotton provides a soft, breathable resting surface, while the orange-striped pattern creates a warm, vintage-inspired appearance. Its combination of comfort and designer styling makes the mat suitable for both contemporary and traditional interiors.
Vintage Orange Stripes and Black-Trimmed Frills
A voluminous polyester frill surrounds the striped center of the mat. Contrasting black trim defines the ruffled border and gives the design a fashionable finishing touch.
This distinctive combination is what separates the Malibu Organic Chilling Mat from the Malibu Linen Chilling Mat. The organic version has orange-striped cotton, a polyester frill and a sequin ribbon handle, while the linen version features checked Italian linen and a crochet handle.
Lightweight Padded Comfort
Soft cotton padding creates a comfortable surface without making the mat heavy or bulky. Its relatively thin construction allows it to fold easily for transportation or storage.
Louisdog describes this as a padded relaxation mat. It does not contain a gel insert, electric cooling system or refrigerating component. The word “chilling” refers to providing your pet with a comfortable place to relax.
Portable Sequin Ribbon Handle
A sequin ribbon handle makes the mat easy to pick up and carry. The sparkling detail adds a glamorous accent while helping you move the mat from room to room.
Use it to create a familiar relaxation space:
- In your living room or bedroom
- On a sofa or other protected surface
- Inside a compatible Louisdog pet house
- During café or restaurant visits
- At a hotel or vacation rental
- While visiting friends and family
- During supervised road trips
This product is a pet mat and should not be used to carry an animal.

This product is the Malibu Linen Chilling Mat. It is different from the similarly named Louisdog Malibu Organic Chilling Mat
The Malibu Linen version features:
- Beige-and-brown checked Italian linen
- A textured Italian fabric frill
- An Italian linen crochet handle
The Malibu Organic version features:
- Vintage orange-striped organic cotton
- A polyester frill with black trim
- A sequin ribbon handle
Pair It With Other Louisdog Pieces
The mat can be used with compatible pieces from Louisdog’s Cradle, Peekaboo and Boom House collections to create a coordinated resting area.
It may also be used independently wherever your companion needs a soft and familiar place to settle.
Care Instructions
Machine wash the mat using a cold, delicate cycle and mild detergent.
Do not use bleach or harsh cleaning products. Allow the mat to air-dry completely and gently reshape the padding, frill and ribbon handle after washing.
Because the mat includes decorative frills and sequins, placing it inside a large mesh laundry bag can help protect its details.
