Create an elegant resting place for your companion with the Louisdog Malibu Linen Chilling Mat. Made from checked Italian linen, this portable pet mat combines understated coastal style with lightweight padded comfort.
A textured frill surrounds the classic checked center, while an Italian linen crochet handle makes the mat easy to pick up, fold and carry. Place it around your home or bring it along to provide your small dog or cat with a comfortable and familiar relaxation space.
Checked Italian Linen Design
The surface of the Malibu Linen Chilling Mat is made from 100% linen produced in Italy.
Its beige-and-brown check pattern has a timeless, vintage-inspired appearance reminiscent of relaxed days near Malibu Beach. The neutral colors coordinate beautifully with a wide variety of home interiors, pet carriers and Louisdog accessories.
Natural variations in the weave and texture are part of linen’s distinctive character.
The Difference Between the Two Malibu Chilling Mats
This product is the Malibu Linen Chilling Mat. It is different from the similarly named Louisdog Malibu Organic Chilling Mat
The Malibu Linen version features:
- Beige-and-brown checked Italian linen
- A textured Italian fabric frill
- An Italian linen crochet handle
The Malibu Organic version features:
- Vintage orange-striped organic cotton
- A polyester frill with black trim
- A sequin ribbon handle
Soft Padded Comfort
Cotton padding creates a comfortable place for your pet to sit or lie down without making the mat bulky or difficult to carry.
Its relatively thin construction allows the mat to fold easily for storage or travel. The lightweight shape is especially useful when you want to provide your pet with a familiar resting surface away from home.
Louisdog describes this as a padded relaxation mat. It does not contain a cooling gel, refrigeration insert or electrical cooling system.
Italian Linen Crochet Handle
A beautifully textured crochet handle provides a convenient way to pick up and carry the folded mat.
The handle is also made from Italian linen, complementing the checked surface and giving the entire piece a coordinated designer appearance.
This handle is intended for carrying the mat only. Never use the mat or its handle to carry an animal.
